Finally back in Iowa. What an amazing experience for myself as a coach and for our team. I am a changed person from Fll world invitational. Amazing people showing what it is all about to being a coach, parent, person. I have learned so much from the other countries and teams. I hope to instill these values in myself and help spread the awesomeness that was here for four days.

Go here to see many pictures from the event. I am currently working on a compilation movie of our experience. It is one we will never forget.

The FLL World Invitational Open Championship 2012 will take place on May 3-6, 2012.

64 teams from around the world will come together to compete via invitation only.

9-14 year olds will explore the topic of food safety and examine the possible points of contamination our food encounters -from exposure to insects and creatures, to unsterile processing and transportation, to unsanitary preparation and storage - then find ways to prevent or combat these contaminates. In the Food Factor Challenge, teams will build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® NXT to solve a set of Food Safety missions as well as research, develop, and share their innovative food safety solutions.

Here are the locations for all the teams that we will be working with and competing against in Florida. How awesome is this?
